Open to all Durham Students, 24s is the bar that opens the latest on the Bailey, making it the perfect place for everything, from a Bailey bar crawl to a quiet drink from our famous cocktail menu! 24s plays a vital role in hosting the Union’s social events: our members-only socials are held in our Reading Room while we host several events in the bar which are open to all, including our now famous Karaoke, Open Mic and Pub Quiz nights. Living and working at 24s
The Union offers eight large rooms as student accommodation, giving members the chance to live right in the centre of Durham, next door to 24s. Applications to live there normally open in late Michaelmas.
The bar is staffed by students who are members of the Society. If you would like to apply for a regular shift, want to help run social events, or want to book any of the facilities at 24s, please email info@dus.org.uk.
